Kat Chiluiza, Senior UX Researcher at Google
Kat Chiluiza is a researcher at Google, where they are focused on the wearables and sleep. They also have a special interest in products and services designed for kids and families. Through their previous work at Nickelodeon, Televisa Foundation and Sesame Workshop, Kat has established a track record of using user-centered research to build domestic and international games, apps, websites. Kat was born and raised in NYC and recently moved to the Bay Area.

Marcos Vera, UX Researcher at CVS Health
Marcos Vera (he/him/el) is a UX Researcher at CVS Health that supports the front store retail experience and has recently started leading the team’s initiative to have more research on Spanish Speaking customers. He is passionate about highlighting people’s lived experiences so that design promotes access and equity in the digital space, especially in how it relates to health care needs. He lives in Austin, TX, and in his free time, he likes playing guitar, playing with his dogs, and just playing around in general.

Courtney Dunn, UX Researcher at Tyler Technologies
Courtney Dunn-Snede was a marketing specialist in the US and South Korea when she discovered UX and ran full speed into research. She works on enterprise applications for state and local governments and strives to bring inclusive research and design practices to the govtech space.

Chen Zhang, Senior Marketing Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee
Chen is a a Senior Marketing Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee where he translates the voice of the member into deep insights. He leverages behavioral science to create solutions rooted in how we actually behave. Chen is passionate about improving health through creating better physical and digital environments.

Brenda Hoyle, Senior UX Researcher at andculture
Brenda Hoyle is qualitative and mixed-methods researcher originally trained as a UX generalist. She is passionate about research and ensuring designs are accessible, inclusive, ethical, and usable. Since starting her UX career, she has worked with a variety of organizations ranging from start-ups to government agencies. In 2019, she built the UX research practice at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee before leaving to conduct research for FEMA. She now works for andculture, an agency based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Brenda runs the UX Cafecito in her free time, helping bring together the UX Latinx community.
