About

Are you new or switching in a new field? And feeling that you don’t have what it takes to be successful?

In this event, Julieth will take you through her journey from Retail Management into UX Design, why and how she did? How she utilized her unique story and strengths to land interviews and her first job, and how passion projects has been her biggest tool to learn and build skills.

About the speaker

Julieth Fajardo, Lead Designer, IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada)

Hola! I’m Julieth, colombian, almost in my 40s, immigrant living in Vancouver for the last 14 years, and I switched careers from retail management to UX Design.

Julieth works as Lead Designer for a project that is really close to her heart in the public sector. One of the things she enjoys the most is empowering others to grow and simply shine. Every single project she works on or creates has something to do with this principle.
